Laser Frenectomy for Children in Atlanta, GA

Laser frenectomy is a gentle, minimally invasive procedure used to release tight tongue or lip ties in children. Using advanced laser technology, the treatment is quick, precise, and causes minimal discomfort. This procedure can improve feeding, speech, and oral development. Laser frenectomy also allows for faster healing and a more comfortable experience for your child.

What Is Laser Frenectomy?

Laser frenectomy is a minimally invasive dental procedure used to release a tight or restrictive frenulum, commonly known as a tongue tie or lip tie. The frenulum is the small band of tissue that connects the tongue or lip to the mouth, and when it is too tight, it can affect feeding, speech, or oral movement.

Using advanced laser technology, the procedure is quick and precise with minimal discomfort and bleeding. Laser frenectomy promotes faster healing and allows children to return to normal activities quickly while supporting proper oral function and development.

Hello!

I’m Dr. Tamerah Marable, but you can call me Dr. Tam. I’m a proud Board-Certified pediatric dentist with a heart for creating great dental experiences for kids — and making sure they leave with a smile on their face! I grew up in Valdosta, Georgia, where dentistry runs in my blood. In fact, I’m the 10th dentist in my family (yes, you read that right!). My dad, who’s also a dentist, is the reason I fell in love with dentistry. I’ve always admired how he’s able to help people, and now, I’m doing the same — but with a focus on making kids feel safe and excited about their dental visits.

To me, every child’s first experience with a dentist is so important — it sets the tone for their future oral health habits. That’s why I’ve worked hard to create Tiny Roots, a practice that’s rooted in family, care, and a genuine commitment to making every visit fun and comfortable for my little patients.

When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me cheering on my favorite sports teams, traveling, dancing, or spending time with my family and friends.

I can’t wait to meet you and your little one — and make their smile shine brighter than ever!
